What is Côte Studios?
Côte Studios is an online marketplace that connects Pilates Studio Owners with freelance Pilates Instructors. Maximise your studio's earning potential by utilising every available hour effectively.
I’m a Studio Owner, how does Côte Studios work for me?
- List your available hours: Easily create a listing for any hours your studio is available.
- Connect with instructors: Freelance Instructors request to book your space through the platform.
- Control who uses your space: Review instructor profiles, qualifications and feedback from other studio owners before accepting or declining their booking request.
- Flexible and Convenient: You control the availability and terms that work best for you.
- Reduced Administrative Burden: Our platform handles bookings and payments.
How do I create a listing for my studio?
First, create an account:
- Click “Sign Up” in the top bar and select “Studio Owners”.
- Enter your name, email and choose a password.
- We will send a verification email to your inbox. Simply click the link in the email.
Now you have an account, let’s create your first listing:
- Click “Post a New Listing” in the top bar and select the type of space you have.
- Add some details to your listing:
- Title: Usually the name of your studio.
- Description: Be sure to include the quantity and types of equipment you have available.
- Staffed/Unstaffed: Select whether there will be staff in the space at the time of the booking.
- Terms of Use: Write any special requirements you would like potential instructors to know about when using your space
- Add your location.
- Choose your hourly price.
- Select the hours you would like to make your studio available for hire.
- Add some photos of your studio.
- Publish your listing!
Will Instructors have insurance?
All instructors are required to have current Public Liability (PL) and Professional Indemnity (PI) insurance to use our platform.
What certifications will Instructors have?
All instructors are required to provide proof of any relevant certifications and list them on their profile. Studio Owners may accept or decline the booking request based on whichever certifications they prefer.
Can I set specific terms for instructors using my studio?
Of course! You can specify any studio rules, equipment use guidelines, or anything else. These Terms of Use will be visible to instructors when they book your studio.
What insurance considerations do I need to be aware of?
We recommend contacting your insurance provider as there is a lot of variation between individual policies. Ensure your policy covers third-party use by freelance instructors.
How do payments work?
Payments are made via Stripe's payment system. Once you accept a request, the payment is held until the booking period passes before being paid out directly to your bank account. Funds usually arrive in 5-10 business days.
What fees are involved?
Studios are charged a 10% commission from the studio's listed price. This fee covers the cost of using our platform and payment processing.
What happens if an instructor cancels a booking?
Instructors are able to cancel or reschedule up to 24 hours prior to their booking to receive a full discount of their fees.
